4Ocean® Whale Bracelet

Every year, millions of pounds of plastic and other rubbish enter the ocean and make it dangerous, sometimes deadly, for some of the world’s largest and most endangered animals: the whales.

4ocean is working to stop that. They are on the water seven days a week, removing plastic, rubbish and debris from the ocean and coastline. Ocean plastic is a serious danger to whales. They can become entangled in it and be injured, or swallow it after mistaking it for food. Either can be fatal.

In May 2018, 4ocean partnered with Whale and Dolphin Conservation to raise awareness of this problem around the world, and to tackle it directly through their clean-ups.

Every Whale Bracelet sold removes one pound of rubbish from the ocean and coastline, in the hope that dangerous items can be taken out before they reach whale habitat. That also supports Whale and Dolphin Conservation’s campaigning, conservation and education work to keep whales safe and free.
